The brief was straightforward: Design a timeless, modern logo and identity. Since the company’s beginning, there have been several iterations with various logos and styles; the client wanted a brand with longevity. In addition, the identity couldn’t be overtly corporate and yet not quite boutique — meeting between professional yet approachable.
Inspired by the kingfisher bird, an abstract icon of two ‘birds’ was created to symbolise balance, partnership and forward movement. Kingfisher strives to foster long-term relationships with its clients, supporting them from start to finish. Therefore, the brand had to be representational of this service.
The client wanted to refresh their existing website to create a new, streamlined website with the requirement that it must be easy to maintain and update. We designed and built a website to fulfil these needs.
